If you incur expenses or earn other revenue for your business and you'd like to keep track of them in My Music Staff's "Revenue & Other Expenses" section, you can take a picture of your receipt to make it easy to record that transaction.

My Music Staff's receipt scanner can capture the payee, amount, and date. It's not perfect, but it's learning! It will save the photo as an attachment on the entry.

Here's what to do:

  1. Navigate to "Revenue & Other Expenses" from the main menu on the left.
  2. Click "+ Add" and choose "Add Expense From Image" or "Add Other Revenue From Image".
  3. If you're using a mobile device, you can use your camera or choose from your existing files.
  4. Snap a picture of your receipt and stand by. My Music Staff will try to read the payee, amount, and date. Make any corrections.
  5. Click "Save".

You should see the new entry, with an added purple button that will show you the attachment.
