If your studio offers online lessons, you can video call your students directly from My Music Staff. This feature will require that each teacher have their own Zoom account. The first thing you'll need to do is record each teacher's Zoom Personal Meeting Room URL.

If you're a single teacher studio, click here for instructions on recording your Personal Meeting Room URL .

If you're a multi-teacher studio, click here for instruction on how to record the Personal Meeting Room URL on behalf of your teachers.

After the Personal Meeting ID has been recorded, you'll create a new lesson location for your Zoom lessons. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the “Calendar” from the main menu on the left.
  2. Click the “Categories” button above the calendar.
  3. Select the “Locations” tab and click the "Add Location" button.
  4. Give your new location a name and choose an icon to represent this location if you wish (a location icon will appear on the calendar).
  5. From the "Type" drop-down menu, choose the "Zoom Meeting" option.
  6. When scheduling a lesson, choose the appropriate location from the "Location" drop-down menu.

You can begin your Zoom meeting by clicking the location from the event details or from your Home Agenda by clicking the "Zoom Meeting" button.

You can also teach online group lessons. Just schedule a group lesson as you normally would and be sure to select your new Zoom lesson location. The Zoom Basic plan has a 40-minute time limit on meetings with 3 or more participants. You can upgrade to Zoom Pro for unlimited group meeting minutes.
