Here are a few tips and tricks to help improve the overall quality of your Zoom meeting:

1. Ask members of the household to take a break from streaming video during lessons.

2. Whenever possible, connect directly with your modem or router rather than using WiFi.

3. Use headphones.

4. Enable "Preserve Original Sound" feature. Click here for instructions.

Once you enable this feature, it can be toggled on and off in a meeting. It should only be used in an environment where there isn't a lot of background noise and your internet connection is strong. Toggle it on as needed, like when a you or a student are playing a piece. While turned on, Zoom no longer adds echo cancellation and audio-enhancing features.

5. If you are having issues with your audio fading in and out, disable "Automatically adjust microphone" in your Zoom audio settings.
